It’s finally here, the Erstwilder Halloween collection designed this year by Mimsy Gleeson. A very talented illustrator and tattoo artist from Brisbane. Her designs are so cute and whimsical, I think they would go so well with Halloween themed Loungefly and Irregular Choice.
What’s Being Released?
20 brooches, 3 necklaces and two earring sets. When you add in the 10 enamel pins and the essential earring it’s quite a sizeable collection. 4 of the brooches (Lunar Eclipse, I-Scream, Dreaded Drought and Home Sweet Haunt) glow in the dark which I’ve very excited about. Home Sweet Haunt is perfect for a Haunted Mansion Disneybound whilst Cauldron Chitter Chatter screams Hocus Pocus. I love the With A Scary On Top little ghost cupcake and Kitty Corn too. They’d go perfect with a number of Mickey and Minnie Halloween Loungefly.
Not all of the collection is Halloween based. The cute element certainly shines through with the cherry hearts Cherry Kiss which have matching earrings and the Key To Your Heart necklace and brooch. Do They Sell Out?
It’s hard to say. Some pieces will go fast so my advice would be to decide what you want beforehand and go for it as quickly as possible. I thin k the glow in the dark may go the fastest.
