Irregular News – Issue 13 161121

Hello people!

This week I’ve been feeling a bit redundant. There’s so much new stuff that I don’t have access to review (I feel like I need another 6 husbands rich enough to keep me in shoes and bags). I’ve been focusing my energy instead on the Irregular Choice release archive. I’m not sure if anyone ever uses it other than me but I’ve decided to start including the rrp price, size range and product code. There’s still a lot to add but if you look at the most recent collections you’ll get an idea of where I’m going.

Once that’s complete I then have to get back to work on the Iconics archive which could really take a lifetime to complete. Glutton for punishment, but it’s actually quite a fun thing to do when you’re stuck on the couch with no one but Judge Judy and a dog butt in your face trying to sit on your knee and the computer (I will take a photo of him doing it one day, he’s relentless).

A lot has actually happened between starting to write this newsletter and now so I’ve tried to keep up and include it all.

You can now subscribe to Irregular Voice so that you never miss a newsletter. I promise never to spam you. You can follow me on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and/or YouTube, if you haven’t already.  Thank you in advance for your kindness.

Very Important Dates

  • Friday 19th November – 2021 festive key with spend of £20 or more at shopDisney UK
  • Friday 19th November 12 Noon – Irregular Choice Christmas Launch

Irregular Choice Christmas Part 1?

Irregular Choice released their Christmas collection on Friday with some very pretty shoes. Reindeer Games and Festive Friend are seriously cute and whilst Bauble Bestie are not for me (I don’t like the red and blue on the bottom of the shoe) they seem to be very popular. Holly Jolly are very pretty too but I think they’re a ‘need to try on’ as they look a little wide.

Whilst the collection is cute it’s not as amazing as what we’ve come to expect from IC so there are suspicions that this may just be part one with more to come.

And… just after I wrote the above… Irregular Choice announced a second part of the Christmas collection, launching on Friday. There is at least on character heel confirmed with Santa back on the interactive Santa’s Workshop boot. There’s a matching North Pole bag too, both featuring doors that open to reveal gingerbread and have a 3D Santa in a little bubble.

The boots don’t light up but the new Rudolph trainers do. Roos are one of my favourite shoe so it’s great to see them back in trainer form named Ready, Steady, Roo. The light up matching Rollin Rudolph bag is adorable. This is what I would need to buy (if i wasn’t broke until into 2022) and I think he’ll go fast but it depends what the rest of the collection is like.

Disney Parks Loungefly @ shopDisney UK

Thank the mini backpack gods that shopDisney UK have started to get Disney Parks Loungefly from the US in stock. There’s was zero 50th anniversary Loungefly in stock when i was in Orlando but I actually managed to order both the bag and ears from the UK website when i returned home.

Both are sadly out of stock now but they do have the pink sequin Earidescent available as well as the two Disney Parks Christmas Loungefly at the time of publishing. They usually go quite quickly but they’ve been on there for a few days now, maybe because of what seems like quite a jump in pricing?

Bring It Back

We had Bring Back shoes from Irregular Choice earlier this year, now it’s the return of the bag. Four classic bag designed have been re-imagined and released for our delight. Dotty Dreamer, Pussy Cat, Wild Side and Granny sack. Each looking so good.

I wish I had access to them to photograph and review with a fully release guide but sadly I won’t see them in person until the end of December if there’s any left then at Carnaby Street. Instead all I can over is some stock images of the original designs below.

Irregular Choice Leggings Review

I tried some Cosmic Cat leggings and I didn’t like them. It’s not love sadly although I do love the print. You can find out all about it by watching my review. It’s online now.

Mine, mine, mine.

Very Neko have revealed their next Disney Moments exclusive, Seagulls from Finding Nemo. The most refreshing new Loungefly we’ve had for a while I think. It’s such a cute but comical design. We have no release date or time yet but it’s certain to be a people pleaser.

Just a little bit of Hocus Pocus

Halloween may be over but Winnifred, Mary and Sarah are for life and their new Spirit Jersey on shopDisney is just as epic as they are. There’s a pet version too.

More New Stuff From Irregular Choice

Have you seen Royal Rebel? They’re seriously fit for a Princess or Queen. I’m obsessed. Then there’s Bounce Around which has an old school IC print of bunnies and toadstools now on a mid heel mary jane with a teeny tiny little bunny sat on some grass on top. I love the look of these too. Finally, we have a high top re-invented called Nebula with clouds on the heels and a pretty floral and velvet design. The same could heel design is available in a normal trainer too with two different designs.

All of these are currently on the Irregular Choice website but only Bounce Around are listed as exclusive so we can expect to see the indie stockists with the others too.

Bake A Cinderella

The new Cinderella heels from Bake A Shoe look seriously amazing. I have their Cansy Is Dandy cake shoes (which are seriously good enough to eat) but this new release is beyond even those. They are certainly royal, covered in rhinestones, pearls and gems and they light up! I’m obsessed with looking at photos of them. I really hope I get to see a pair in person one day, they really need to meet a Disney castle.

Stockist Update

Captain Jellyfish (previously Eshoes) and Treat Yourself Boutique have been added to the stockist lists. Captain Jellyfish for Irregular Choice and Loungefly and Treat Yourself for Irregular Choice.
