I was so excited when I saw that Irregular Choice were doing leggings again. I ordered the Cosmic Cat pair straight away and I do love the design except for the seams. Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be. I just can’t get on with the fit and the fabric is a bit too thin for me. You can watch for full review below:
The leggings are priced at £39 and are available in two different prints, Cosmic Cat and Gamer. They range from size XS to 2XL, which covers UK sizes 8 to 16. There are a lot of voices on social media that are not happy that a size 16 is represented as 2XL now that sizes beyond 16 are not represented. This is hopefully something that Irregular Choice will address for any future releases. I’ve included the size chart for you, taken directly off the Irregular Choice website.
The leggings are machine washable and can be tumble dried at a low heat. They are made from 85% polyester and 15% spandex.
I like both prints but think that Cosmic Cat work better in the reduced size and are easier to style. I would have loved to style them into an outfit but there was just too many issues for me to keep them. Whilst the fabric is lovely and soft it is quite thin. On some of the photos you can see that the fabric becomes more transparent when stretched and at times you can see my underwear outline through the fabric in the video review. The fabric used doesn’t hold you in, I really don’t like the feel of the seems and there’s no pocket. I think if there was older prints released that were not already available as tights it might change my opinion of if I need them or not.
P.S. I really don’t like sharing close ups of my bottom but wanted to show how the fabric thins x
