Irregular Choice – Pokemon

So, I’m not going to lie. I knew Pokemon was coming. I got told my the big man and idol when I was at Carnaby Street (and immediatly said Pikachu very loud straight after, thankfully the shop was empty). I am also not going to lie, I mostly don’t like Pokemon. I probably would mind it if i wasn’t forced to watch ever episode and film over and over again when my bother and nephew were growing up.

I do like Pikachu. He’s probably the only character that doesn’t drive me crazy. I have heard great things about the collection though so I’ve very excited to see the release.

When & Where?

Friday 29th April at 12 noon. The collection will launch at on the Irregular Choice website as well as the Irregular Choice stores. There are also a number of UK stockists who will have this collection, you can find a lit of them at the end of this guide.

Irregular Choice Pokemon

What’s Being Released?

I’m getting the sense that this is going to be a large collection. I’m thinking on the scale of Hello Kitty based upon the previews. Technically, we have not seen a character heel. We have seen a character on a heel, Pokemon Party, but I’m thinking that there might be more to see.

Irregular Choice Pokemon

Here is everything that we do know so far:

The Box & Sole

Pokemon Party

Cute rainbow heels, somewhere between A Nick Of Time and a Kanjanka. With that 3D Pikachu on the heel of course. I love that so many characters are represented on these shoes. ikachu, Eevee, Jigglypuff, Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle are all included.

  • Sizes 36 to 43
  • Heel Height 9cm

Counting Stars Bag

A rainbow-mazing bag to match the Pokemon Party shoes. This bag is the same style as Luce Mia, Totally Triceratops and the Hug With Care Care Bears bag. It’s a nice size for a phone, purse, etc, so pretty much when you don’t need a whole lot of stuff. Usually ther’s a front and a back on these bags but this is pretty cute either side. It includes Pikachu, Eevee, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle.

  • Size 22.5 x 16 x 6.5cm
  • Detachable adjustable strap 60-120cm

Shock Walk

As I have said many times, I am not a Pokemon fan. I saw these boots and a squeeled. They are so so adorable and they light up. I know that there is a big electric hamster on the side but I think these would be pretty epic Pokemon or not. I can see me wearing these with pretty much anything. I really need them. These boots come in extended sizes up to EU size 46 and i love that a man is wearing a pair in the promo shots.

  • Sizes 36 to 46
  • Heel Height 8.6cm
  • Motion activated LED lights with on/off switch
  • Not chargeable afaik but I will double check tomorrow

Pikachu Dreams

How cute is sleeping Pikachu? He is so sweet on these flats. I like the Pokeball detail on the toes too and that the centre of the ball lights up. There’s more lights on the side of the shoe too. These boots come in extended sizes up to EU size 46.

  • Sizes 36 to 46
  • Heel Height 1.7cm
  • Motion activated LED lights with on/off switch
  • Not chargeable afaik but I will double check tomorrow

Hello Weekend Bag

I’m always a fan of this style of bag. It’s such a great size and fits so much in the central area and then you still have both sides (I’ve gotten in two outfits and shoes before). I’ve lost count of how many i have but it must be well past 10 now. I much prefer these ones to the slightly taller version with one big pocket. This version is so cute with Pikachu against the black to match both Shock Walk and Pikachu Dreams. The reverse scene fautres an image of Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander and Butterfree. The bag lights up too.

  • Size 36 x 20 x 37.5cm
  • Detachable adjustable strap 60-120cm
  • Motion activated LED lights with on/off switch
  • These bags are usually chargeable afaik but I will double check tomorrow

Sparkly Fun

I know that people go crazy for Jigglypuff and Togepi. I’ve never really seen the appeal (other than i like that Jigglypuff is pink) but there’s going to be a lot of happy people when they see these chunky boots. The lounges have an enticular image that flips between either Sylveon or Slurpuff and a Pokeball. It’s the same basic shoe as Dollymite and Flutterby but as a boot.

  • Sizes 36 to 41
  • Heel Height 4cm Platform

Awesome Mode Bag

It’s fluffly rainbow ombre. Need I say more? Also, it’s got Jigglypuff and Togepi on it and the same enticular image as Sparkly Fun, that flips between either Sylveon and a Pokeball. This style of bag always unsually sells out the fastest during collaborations. The website does state that it is exclusive to Irregular Choice.

  • Size 26.5 x 13 x 28cm
  • Detachable adjustable strap 60-120cm
  • Exclusive to Irregular Choice

Tights

I counted my Irregular Choice tights last week and I got to 49 but then i found more. Neadless to say I am a fan. So far, we have two designs in this collection, Powered Up and Sparkly Nights. They are a great way to get a piece of the collection and still do Pokemon inspired looks if you can’t afford the shoes or bags.
