Part of the amazing 2021 Irregular Choice Hippo collection release on the 16th April 2021. The shoes came in two different colours, a black with animal print and the red with glitter gingham. Both feature the new hippo character heel along with Happy Hippo and Hippo-Ray.

The heel is 11.5cm high with 1.5cm platform which is the same height as Mickey and Minnie, half a centimetre less than bunnies and deers and 1.5cm taller than dice. I found them rather on the large size, I sized down to 39 in these shoes form my usual 40 and still find them a little roomy. They are very comfy though.
The red glitter gingham is stunning and I love the red cuff that gives a boot feel. I found the cuff quite generous and still a little baggy at its tightest. I measured it at around 30cm on a size 39 but with an extra hole on the buckle strap I think it would go up to 34cm.
