I’ve been dying to dye something quite a while now. I got talked out if modifying some Flamingos and the husband talked me dying from potentially killing a pair of Eternal Friend. I did start painint a pair of Mouse Trap but they’re still ongoing (I will share them eventually) but have seen a few people dye Abigails and Nick of Times recently. My cream Nicks became defunct when i get the Rockamilly Mermaid ones so i thought I’d jump on the bandwagon and give it a go.
I used Dylon Hand Fabric Dye in Paradise Blue. It was £3 from amazon. I messed up a bit, as you can see at the end of the video, but I’m pretty happy with how they worked out.
The shoes are currently drying but i was too impatient to wait to take the after photo and share the video so here’s a few pre-after photos below. The angel wings will be clued one once the shoes are dry.
